Welcome to Buildtal. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Buildtal platform at www.buildtal.com operated by Buildtal ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
Buildtal is a talent marketplace connecting employers and construction firms with verified AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) professionals. The platform enables employers to post jobs and contact professionals, and enables professionals to create profiles, apply for jobs, and connect with mentors.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Buildtal. By using the platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
Professionals: May create a profile, list credentials and work history, apply for jobs, and connect with mentors. Professionals are solely responsible for the accuracy of their stated credentials, certifications, and licenses. Buildtal does not independently verify professional credentials.
Employers: May post jobs, search for professionals, and submit inquiries. Employers are responsible for ensuring their job postings comply with applicable employment laws.

Buildtal charges a transparent placement fee of 10–15% of the professional's billable rate for successful hires facilitated through the platform. Specific fee structures are disclosed at the time of engagement. Buildtal reserves the right to modify its fee structure with advance notice.
Professionals who submit credential information (PE licenses, certifications, etc.) represent that such information is accurate and current. Submission of false credentials is grounds for immediate account termination and may constitute fraud under applicable law.
The Buildtal platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Buildtal and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, job postings) but grant Buildtal a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content as necessary to operate the platform.
Buildtal is a marketplace platform. We do not employ professionals listed on the platform, nor are we party to employment or engagement agreements between employers and professionals. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy of credential claims, the quality of work performed, or the suitability of any professional for a given role.
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Buildtal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of Buildtal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
